I’m an assistant professor, librarian, and archivist at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. My research interests are mostly in histories of complementary and alternative medicine, with a little history of libraries and archives thrown in. My teaching interests are in graphic medicine and medical humanities. My teaching philosophy? We’re in this together. Be excellent to each other.
I’m also a book artist and printmaker. My artistic practice centers around spontaneity and experimentation. I occasionally teach at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, where my teaching interests are in book and zine design, content creation, and copyright, copyleft, and fair use for artists.
